Trixie is an artist-run space located in the Stationsbuurt, neighbouring the red light district of The Hague. Led by a diverse group of young artists, Trixie is an initiative that encourages artistic production through collaboration and exchange.

With our diverse backgrounds, we run a space which consists of 15 studio spaces, a gallery, and a workshop. Trixie runs a public program, inviting diverse groups of artists to experiment with alternative presentation strategies and expand their practice, network, and audience with the use of our space and resources.

Through Trixie, we aim for a sustainable working structure and public program, which is a valuable asset for its members, their professional development as well as the cultural landscape of The Hague and beyond.

Gallery Update: Trixie Gallery Pause 
Trixie Gallery will be taking a pause while we collectively re-evaluate its operations. As a collective of artists, writers, and makers, all events at Trixie are organized, built, and manned by its members for the wider community. This significant work, carried out over many months, is unpaid and unfunded by external sources.

During this pause, we will assess sustainable models for the gallery’s operations, focusing on balancing the labor of Trixie members with the resources available. While we will not be accepting ad-hoc proposals during this time, we encourage you to stay tuned. The gallery will return—possibly in a new format, but always as welcoming as before.
