The Unveilling of a Sacred Body
Over the course of three weeks, Jordan Herregraven investigates the realm of intuition and acts of transformation through spatial interventions in the Trixie gallery space. Drawings and sculptures are presented in an installation-like setting which resembles the way the artist works in his studio. Jordan tends to use symbolic materials like hair and wood to create a whole world in which he focuses on themes of the cycles of life; Birth, death, and psychological rebirth. To emphasize the experience of the transitioning of time, Jordan presents his work in two events. He continues his working period in between those stages which will put his work in an altered context.
