On 4 October 2023 the fourth-year students enrolled in the Visual Culture minor at Willem de Kooning Academy showcased their interpretations of “We’re All Ruined”.
The exposition features work of many upcoming creators whose individual works all come together to form one cohesive network of meaning. Subjects such as time, purpose and obsolescence are all explored alongside each other. For one spellbinding afternoon only you are invited to view the beginnings of an ongoing pursuit of a new narrative surrounding the notion of a ruin. What exactly do we have to say for ourselves?
